Judy is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner for our Family Health Center Willows office and provides mental health services to the youth in our community. She was born, raised, and currently lives here in Knox County with her husband and high school sweetheart Ryan and together they have three wonderful kids, Keylee (12), Daxton (5), and Murphy (2). Prior to joining the Family Health Center, Judy worked for Good Samaritan Hospital as a registered nurse in Hospice. Judy stated "I really enjoyed the services that I was able to provide to patients during their end-of-life journey. It is something that I will always consider one of my biggest blessings and achievements." Before working in Hospice, Judy was a float RN primarily in the ER and ICU. It was working in the ER that fueled Judy's passion to choose to care for mental health related issues in the pediatric population of our community. Judy attended Vincennes University for her ASN and BSN degrees and recently graduated with her Masters in Nursing from Walden. In her spare time, Judy can be found deeply invested in a good book or looking for a concert to attend! Judy shared "I am so excited to be a contestant on Dancing with the Vincennes Stars! I love to do community work and volunteer my time as well as my family’s time to help others. I love being able to be a part of something that gives back to our community." Ryan works for Wabash Steel in Vincennes as a CNC machinist and was raised in the Decker area and a graduate of South Knox. He and Judy have been married for almost 12 years and they also have two dogs, Ace and Butters. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys being outdoors and cooking for those around him. Ryan shared, "I am excited to be on Dancing with the Vincennes Stars because I can't wait to showcase all my good dance moves in order to embarrass my wife while also promoting something positive for our community."
