Although Keri was born in Illinois and spent most of her childhood there, she has lived in Vincennes since she was 15. Currently she resides in southern Knox County with her husband Andrew and their four children, Ashlynn, who lives in Indianapolis, Keraline, Ollie and Eva, who all attend South Knox Elementary. After graduating in VU’s first bachelor’s degree program, earning a dual degree in Elementary/Special Education, Keri worked in child welfare for nearly 7 years and had a few other social services jobs along the way. Keri has always had a passion for helping others and loves being social and making connections with people. That passion led to Keri's current job, where she has had the pleasure of serving our community in a new way as Operations Manager of the Pantheon for almost 2 years. Keri was a part of the LHS Dance team for 2 years and that is what sparked her love of dance. If you have ever been at a social gathering where Keri has been in attendance, you know that she has a larger-than-life personality, the first person to the dance floor, and has absolutely zero trepidation! As someone who has not only watched family members struggle from untreated mental illness, but also dealt with mental health challenges personally, Keri understands the importance of having access to appropriate mental health services and a network of people to lean on for support. Keri is a strong advocate of normalizing mental health treatment and discussions around the topic so we can help others feel safe, validated, and connected. Keri is excited to bring her energy and enthusiasm to this event to support such a worthy cause!
