Tyler was born outside the contiguous 48 on the Island of St. Croix in the United States Virgin Islands. Tyler grew up in Salem, Illinois and moved to Vincennes to attend Vincennes University in the Fall of 2009. While attending, he decided to become a permanent resident! He has been an Associate Real Estate broker for Klein Real estate since 2011, and currently is the President for the Indiana Residential Real Estate Council. Tyler is extremely fortunate, as he is married to Jenna Simmons, who some of you may recognize from Jenna’s Bakehouse, our downtown Vincennes dessert shop. They have one son, Jack, who is just under 2 years old. In their free time, they love to travel and do small trips, most likely ending up at a beach or water. Outside of Real Estate Sales, Tyler is involved in various Real Estate Investments and projects across Vincennes and Knox County, along with numerous organizations and volunteer groups. He is a founding board member of the Rotary Young Leaders of Vincennes, a Knox County Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, an active member of the Downtown Vincennes Association, co-working member at the Pantheon Business Theater, Vincennes Gun Club member, and member of the Porsche Club of America. Tyler is very excited to help out the Wabash Valley Friendship Clubhouse and the causes that it supports. He hopes that he will be able to change Jenna’s mind and have her dance with him, but he may have a better chance of getting struck by lightning twice! Tyler dedicates this year’s performance to his late father, Rick Simmons, who passed in 2023, but would have loved to watch him perform at this year’s fundraising event!
